All CCSD-licensed personnel and retirees eligible to enroll in a Teachers Health Trust or Retiree Health Trust plan may receive a free flu vaccination (H1N1 Swine Flu vaccination is included).

To qualify at the time of registration, you must show:

• A valid school picture IF and/or pay stub
• Photo ID

Dependents and guests may obtain flu vaccinations for $25 apiece.

Discount coupons will be available to all dependents registered by an active licensed employee eligible for a Trust plan at designated preregistration sites.

 

Pneumonia vaccination will be available to all festival attendees for a price TBD. Vaccinations will be available to all individuals who meet criteria set by the Health Festival's administering physician.

Pneumonia vaccinations will be limited in supply and will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Training will be conducted by CPR Connections of Las Vegas. The training session will be conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration is $25 per person. Space is limited, so be sure to RSVP using the link below.

The first 1,200 attendees will receive a free 2011 Health Festival goodie bag, which include a a festival T-shirt and more, courtesy of Teachers Health Trust.

To qualify at the time of registration, you must show:

• A valid school picture IF and/or pay stub
• Photo ID

Dependents and guests may obtain glucose and cholesterol screenings for $10 per test.

For most accurate results, fast for twelve (12) hours prior to the test(s). Please remember that lines may become long at the festival and consider this when deciding whether or not to fast.

 

An Abundance of local health care professionals and vendors will be on hand to offer attendees a wide array of health screenings. Available screenings include:

• Eyeglass cleaning
• Oral Screenings
• Vision Screenings
